I am absolutely thrilled to announce my upcoming solo exhibition, “Still Lifes, Shifting Narratives: The Hyperrealistic Paintings of Sharon Harms,” at the Customs House Museum & Cultural Center in Clarksville, Tennessee. Having a solo body of work hosted by such a beautiful and historic institution is a tremendous milestone, and I cannot wait to share this collection with you.
The exhibition runs July 25, 2026 through October 22, 2026.

I am proud to share that my painting, "The quest", was selected as a finalist for the prestigious Homiens Art Prize Winter 2026 Exhibition. Homiens is a wonderful international curatorial platform that highlights exceptional work from a global talent pool, and I am incredibly grateful to have made the finalist circle for the first time.

Honorable Mention: FiKVA Award
INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION
In exciting news, my painting for "The quest", was awarded an Honorable Mention in the International FiKVA Award for Painters 2026! Out of 1,290 global submissions, it ranked in the top 18. The competition is hosted by the FiKVA Foundation in Antwerp, Belgium, which champions excellence in contemporary realism, and it is an immense honor to be recognized among so many world-class figurative artists.

Almenara Art Prize
INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION
Four of my paintings have been selected for the final rounds in the 2025 Almenara Art Prize competition. This is an international contest for artists working in the genres of hyperrealism, photorealism, contemporary realism, surrealism, imaginative realism, impressionism and plein air painting. I am extremely honored to have my work selected alongside so many amazing artists.

INTERNATIONAL JURIED EXHIBITION
I'm thrilled to announce that my painting "In search of the muse" has placed in the top 50 finalists in the International FiKVA Award for Painters 2025. "Still holding on" was also selected as one of the 100 finalists, selected out of 888 entries from around the world. It's a tremendous honor to be recognized alongside so many amazing artists.
The award is sponsored by the FiKVA-foundation (Figuratieve Kunst Vandaag), a non-profit organization based in Antwerp, Belgium that promotes contemporary realism and figurative arts.

Allied Artists of America
NATIONAL INVITATIONAL EXHIBITION
I'm pleased to announce that my painting, "Anatomy lesson" was accepted into Allied Artists of America's 111th Annual National Invitational Exhibition. Of the 278 artists selected for the online show, I was one of a hundred finalists invited to show my work in-person at the Butler Institute of American Art, in Youngstown, Ohio. An absolute honor! The show will be on view from September 8th to November 10th with an opening reception on October 26th from 1–3pm.
