I am thrilled to share that my work has been selected for the Create! Magazine Tenth Anniversary Book (Volume 1), celebrating a decade of vibrant contemporary art. It is a true privilege to be part of this dedicated creative community and to see my paintings featured in this special commemorative publication, now available on Amazon.

I’m pleased to share that two of my paintings – "The quest" and "Undeterred by what came before" – have been selected in the still life category for the The Almenara Art Prize 2026 International Online Exhibition. I'm proud to have my work shown alongside some of the top painters in the category from around the world.

"Ars Gloria" is a weekly statewide program that publishes profiles of Tennessee artists through the TN Press Association in collaboration with the TN Art League. I'm honored!

"Undeterred by what came before" is one of 75 works selected from 748 entries to be part of HER.SELF, an exhibition at ArtFluent.com, an online contemporary art platform and virtual gallery hosting international juried art exhibitions snd providing artist grants.

I am absolutely thrilled to announce my upcoming solo exhibition, “Still Lifes, Shifting Narratives: The Hyperrealistic Paintings of Sharon Harms,” at the Customs House Museum & Cultural Center in Clarksville, Tennessee. Having a solo body of work hosted by such a beautiful and historic institution is a tremendous milestone, and I cannot wait to share this collection with you.

The exhibition runs July 25, 2026 through October 22, 2026.

I am proud to share that my painting, "The quest", was selected as a finalist for the prestigious Homiens Art Prize Winter 2026 Exhibition. Homiens is an international curatorial platform that highlights exceptional work from a global talent pool, and I am incredibly grateful to have made the finalist circle for the first time.

In exciting news, my painting for "The quest", was awarded an Honorable Mention in the International FiKVA Award for Painters 2026! Out of 1,290 global submissions, it ranked in the top 18. The competition is hosted by the FiKVA Foundation in Antwerp, Belgium, which champions excellence in contemporary realism, and it is an immense honor to be recognized among so many world-class figurative artists.

I was honored to be featured in both the print and online winter editions of Visual Art Journal, an international publication dedicated to showcasing contemporary artists. We dove deep into my creative process, transition into full-time painting, and the underlying allegories in my work.

I’m thrilled to announce that my painting, "In search of the muse" has been selected as the 3rd Place Winner for the Boynes Artist Award, 12th Edition. The Boynes Award supports artists globally through initiatives that promote, connect, and elevate the visibility of emerging and undiscovered talent.

Four of my paintings have been selected for the final rounds in the 2025 Almenara Art Prize competition. This is an international contest for artists working in the genres of hyperrealism, photorealism, contemporary realism, surrealism, imaginative realism, impressionism and plein air painting. I am extremely honored to have my work selected alongside so many amazing artists.
