"Escape" has been selected as a finalist in the International FiKVA Award for Painters 2022. It placed in the top 35 out of 1012 entries from 65 countries. Indeed an honor to be selected alongside so many mind-blowing artists.

The award is sponsored by the FiKVA-foundation (Figuratieve Kunst Vandaag), a non-profit organization based in Antwerp that promotes contemporary realism and figurative arts.

"Anatomy lesson" is one of only 19 works selected for MIMIC, an exhibition about replication, simulation, and the relationship between life and illusion presented by Manifest Gallery, 2727 Woodburn Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45206

An opening reception will be held on Friday, May 27 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Honored to have my painting "Anatomy lesson" selected for American Women Artists annual spring online exhibition. This painting is one of 136 finalists chosen from 979 entries.

"Pull yourself together" and "Set yourself free" have been accepted into Feminist Insight: Telling Her Story, a juried exhibition presented by Ellington-White Contemporary, 113 Gillespie St, Fayetteville, NC 28301.

I'm honored to have my painting, "Escape", selected as a finalist in this national juried exhibition sponsored by American Women Artists. If you're in the Nashville area, I'd love to see you at the artists' reception on March 12th from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Customs House Art Museum in Clarksville, TN. The show runs from March 5 through May 9, 2022.

Presented in conjunction with Rising Voices 2: The Bennett Prize for Women Figurative Realist Painters, February 3 through April 24, 2022.

"Escape" was selected as one of ten finalists for a feature article in Artist Magazine about working artists over 60. The magazine will be available on newsstands starting in late February 2022.

"The illusion of shame" placed in the top ten and received an honorable mention in a national narrative still life competition sponsored by the Catholic Art Institute in Chicago. "Anatomy lesson" and "Object" were also selected as finalists. The caliber and creativity of the artists represented in the show are top-notch.

"Escape" has been selected as a runner-up in the 2021 Artistic Excellence competition and earned a listing in the print edition.

"Object" has been accepted into the Cincinnati Art Club’s ViewPoint 53 national juried exhibition. The show will be on display and open to the public at ADC Fine Art, 2124 Madison Road, Cincinnati, Ohio through October 16, 2021.
